Hi everyone,
I am just wondering if anyone is interested in watching the World Cup that is happening now. I really like soccer, and of course I am supporting Japan, but I think World Cup has some other good points too.
During this time, I think it is such a great opportunity to meet people from many different countries.
Yesterday I was watching the game with a person from India(working for the United Nations!), Saudi Arabia, and Italy! It was so fun, and I think it gives us a great chance to learn about other cultures.
I think because everyone here wants to learn english, this kind of international event is really exciting, not only because of soccer. ^^
What do you think about it, or do you have any fun stories about it?

I enjoyed soccer game on Monday.(Australia vs JAPAN)
I like AUSTRALIA so much.I visited there twice!But,world cup is other problem(^-^;)
But, JAPAN was not win. I believe, JAPAN will win next game(next game is next Sunday.)

I have friends in America and Spain. But they have different thought. My American friend says that his friends aren't interested in world cup, because soccor is not major sport in America. But my Spanish friend and his surrounds are excited by world cup. Even is one sport, I learn there are some differencies between another two countries.

I'm sure it is a beautiful country, but I can still be sad to lose that game...haha
I think world cup gives us a chance to talk with people from other countries, and also we can learn a lot of interesting history too!! Such as between Angola and Portugal, Poland and Germany...
This is why I enjoy it. ^_^

I really like Nakata's thinking! You know, sometimes he is really negative, but now he is trying to make everyone see that there is still hope so we should play hard. If Japan plays harx, and the fans support them, certainly they can win!!
Nakata can speak english and italian also right?

Yeah, it is a cultural difference. I think there are many reasons why the US does not support soccer, but the rest of the world does like it a lot!!
Maybe the US is afraid of a game where we are not the best team...haha

But now, I think Japan needs our support, so we have to watch the game. I will wake up at 6am, and send all my good thoughts to Nakamura Shunsuke and the team. Especially Kawaguchi because he really needs it. ^_^
But if I watched that game with an Australian person, I don't think I would be comfortable....haha
