I don't know why Americans are confused about our culture with Chinese one. A guy asked me like how do you think about a one child policy in your country? I was like that's Chinese. And my hostmom's daughter told me she likes Japanese food, especially dumplings. When I heard it, I just smiled for a moment, then I told her I like Columbian food, tacos. She was like you know tacos are Mexican food. I'm Columbian though. For me, I just made fun of her. Everone knows that's Mexican. I think this world is still large, not small.

Yeah!! I agree with you two guys in some points.
I think about Imo's experience they are confused with Chinese one cuz you know, historically Columbia has a lot of immigrants from Asian, especially more Chinese and less Japanese.
And that, Japanese looks like Chinese.
Like...There are many Chinese staff in my oｆfiｃe. Everyday I see them though, I can't find the differences.
However, I agree with Jake in some ways. I mean, Chinese people in my office don't tend to want to get in Japanese society neither. If Japanese and Chinese use the same language, how could Americans find the differences?

I don't know why, but we create somewhat competition like both of us wanna be considered as the essential person for Americans. I don't think you remember the cheese cuz you were completely drunk and naked. Mimolette is an orange, hard-type cheese from France. It goes with delicate wine or Japanese Sake well. You can get one anywhere in Japan. It's really famous among ara-sa -around 30 year old women- from my statistics. I recommend you eat it with red wine from Bourgogne and ur girlfriend who works at a hotel. Sounds like Halloween is coming soon
