Hello, Mike. Long time to see. My family visited Hiroshima. That reminded me of the period that we used to exchange e-mails. That's why I am here to write my message to you.
What did you do this Golden week? As I said before, my family visited Miyajima for a sightseeing for the Itsukushima shrine. On the next day, we went to Hiroshima to visit Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. The Itsukushima shrine had been a place I was eager to see because of the world heritage. It shows various sceneries whenever the tide comes in and goes out. First, We boarded a boat and could see the area near the Torii. The guide talked about it in details. We had fun. Second, we walked around inside the shrine after the tour. The guide said, eight is a lucky number. That's why you can find many things are eight inside the shrine. We could find eight things here and there. We enjoyed a walk. Third, we waited for a moment when tide comeletly went out. As soon as the tide had gone, we walked around the bank near the Torii. I could find many marine creatures such as small shells. Finally, we found its scenery with tide filled with the bank on the next day. It was very beautiful with its figure reflected on the sea water.
What I'd like to do was eat Japanese-style pizza of Hiroshima yaki. I ate it at a restaurant of 麗ちゃん at the Hiroshima station building. I am regretful that I may ask you for the restaurants which serve delicious ones.
I noticed a big advertisement panel of Hiroshima stadium which you frequent for the baseball game. Have you been to the stadium recently?
Istopped exchanging e-mails at the site of Eigo bin. I'd like to write English letters here.

I'm now in Miyajima. I'm serving as an English interpreter for a symposium: http://home.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/ismd2011/
It’s nice that you and your family visited Miyajima and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. I am amazed that you observed about details in Miyajima. I didn’t know that there are a lot of things related to eight in Miyajima. I found an internet site explaining that: http://www.earthkeeperh3.com/truth/miyajima.html
Thank you for informing me of this trivia. I'll use it for my volunteer guide to foreigners in Miyajima.
I think the Okonomiyaki restaurant “Rei-Chan” is popular and convenient for travelers. There are a lot of Okonomiyaki restaurants in Hiroshima and my favorite one is “Mitchan Honten”.
I often visited the baseball stadium. I went there four times in this season so far.
