Could anyone tell me where I can buy computer softwear so that I can type hiragana and kanji on my English computer? onegaishimasu!

僕もイギリス時代は英語Winだったけど日本語入力なぜかできてたなぁ。。。という事は必ず解決策はあるはずなので。
頑張ってー。で答えわかったらまた教えてください。

Tom, it might be a bit late, but if this helps...
If you use a windows, go to control panel and go to regional and language options.
Then go to languages tab, installes files for asian languages.
Then you can write and read Japanese in your English
PC. Hope this helps. :)

Stupid windows, why can they still not design a decent multilingual interface???

Chocolat's advice is sound, but you will probably have to insert your the original windows disk you were given with your computer.

It may well be a bit of a faff.
