It's a perfect start for the Vancouver Titans as they poured in 122 points en route to a 41 point victory over the USA All Stars in Portland Oregon tonight. Vancouver's newest professional team raced out to a 47-22 first quarter lead and never looked back as tough defense and solid rebounding led to quick buckets in transition.

"Our first quarter gave us a glimpse of how fast the game can be played," says General Manager and Head Coach David Petroziello. "Scoring 47 points and shooting 68% over a twelve minute span at any level of basketball is impressive. We maintained a good pace, and we need to improve our consistency so we can maintain that pace over a full 48 minutes"

Jesson Gray (Iowa State University) led the team in scoring with 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the franchise's first ever game. Emmy Unaegbu (Simon Fraser University) led all rebounders with 16.
The back court tandem of Kyle Keyes (University of Montana) and Nate Bowie (University of Central Arkansas) controlled the pace of the game throughout while Josh Washington (Texas A&M Corpus Christi) held the All Stars' quick guards in check.

The Titans play again tomorrow at 2:00pm in Portland. The first home game for Vancouver is April 24th @ 7:30 vs the Snohomish County Explosion. All Titans home game are played at the Langley Events Centre.
