Anyway, share you've done or what you felt in school if you have a time to write to this community. We will be able to share them after all of us come back to Japan though...in such a case, IZAKAYA will be better.. I think.
I introduced "menko", "daruma-otoshi" and "hane-tsuki" as Japanese classic toys.
I had all classes(kindergarten〜5th grade).
All classes seemed to be interested in and enjoy those toys.
I think we have to tell children not to throw menko cards roughly, because moat of mine is almost broken(笑)
mikiko, How about "koinobori", and I think you can find some web sites easily using yhoo or google.
mikiko, How many daruma-otoshi do you have?
I only have four but I diveded children into groups of 4 or 5 and it worked really well.
And if you cannot show how to play, I think it doesn't matter.
You look very well, Tomoya. I'm happy to see your message.
Today, I and Mikiko had a conversation with Kazumi and Kimihiko.
It seems that they are well even though they have some problems in the school. I got eased when I hear their voice.
Counting number can be good to get students excited!!
It is the information from me. I didn't ecpect such a good atmosphere for counting number in Japanese actually, though it worked very well!!
You should try it if your materials get out of order!!
kazumi, I think making nengajo will be fun.
Regarding "Eto", I don't know which grade you are teachig, but I think it is hard to understand for small children like 1st or 2nd grade.
How about making some foods like okonomiyaki or fishing insted of kingyo-sukui.
