a waitress came to our table and asked me/us how it was or if everything was okay, in the US.

in japan, they dont ask.

actually, it was fun to answer to these questions. it sometimes started a fun conversation, as well.

oneday, i was asked how it was or how i liked it. i was eating a pasta in an Italian restaurant. I said "pretty good." then she asked me "is it just pretty good?" hahaha

i meant it for very good, but later i asked my American friend what it would meant to them to say "pretty good." he was thinking for a while and told me it may be worse than "good" or close to good. it doesnt sound it is very good, but depending on the way i said that.

anyways, i just wanted to write something here because it has been so quiet lately !!
