BMC Pharmacologyに発表された研究によれば、一般的なビタミンサプリメントは明らかな嘘の効能で宣伝されている。
ビタミンB1誘導体であるベンフォチアミンBenfotiamineの宣伝について、ベルギーの研究者が虚偽であることを示している。
