“ Hi!
This is Jarrie Ann Roman. I am a fourth-year student of the University of the Philippines. I am a linguistics student major in Japanese. I have studied nihonggo for more than three years now but I can't say that I am a fluent nihonggo speaker. I am still having difficulties especially in conversational Japanese and kanji. I live at Cavite, a province just beside Manila, Philippines' capital. My university is situated in Manila. With regards to where I am staying there in Japan, I have submitted an application for a dormitory but I am still waiting for a reply. According to the package I received from ICU, I should arrive there on September 1 so that is my tentative date of arrival.
I am so glad to hear from you and I am really excited to meet you in person.
