記事のソースが明らかにされていないため、現段階では上記記事内容の真偽は確認できませんが、もし近い将来調理師職と美容師職がMODLから外れることになれば留学中の方を含めかなりの数のビザ申請予定者の方が影響を受けることになります。

この記事を書いたSushi Dasという記者（Sushiというファーストネームもあるのですね。苗字からするとインドかバングラデシュ系でしょうか。）がThe Age紙に書いた過去記事のリストです。ひとつひとつ検証していけば今回の情報の確度もある程度は推測できるかもしれません。

他のAgentからの２次情報ですが、下記はACPET (Australian Council for Private Education and Training)が今日会員宛に送った案内の一部です。

At the time of writing, we are led to believe that an announcement regarding this issue is imminent. While we will not know all the details until an announcement is made, it is likely to affect in particular institutions providing training in cookery and hairdressing, as there will likely be changes to the processing of PR applications from students studying in these areas.

近々連邦政府からこの問題に関連した何らかの発表があると見られているようです。
