Brand new show by old partners in crime… Guy and Sayoko are back!!

Yes we are back!! Hello Guy desu!! It’s great to be back in the daytime on Inter FM & I hope you can join me & Sayoko everyday - for 5 hours - yes it’s the long haul again. I’m writing this in the 12 o’clock hour - it’s lunchtime & I’m HUNGRY.. hmmmm sushi or pizza? 昔のパートナーのGuyとサヨコの新しい番組が戻ってきました！

こんにちは、Guyです！僕とサヨコさんと毎日5時間と言う長い時間の昼間のインターFMに戻ってきました。
僕はこのブログを昼の12時に書いています。あぁ〜お腹が空いた。ランチはピザ？寿司？何にしようかな？
もう直ぐ1時になると、新しいコーナーGuy’s Flight - 毎日、私は、世界中のイギリスと日本と異なった話題、出来事、および音楽-が始ります。

Happy Thursday

Hello & happy Thursday to you!! A very windy start to the day & it woke me up really early so…. chotto nemui!! It’s lunchtime & we’re talking food in the studio.. hungry!! hmmm.. today I want pizza!! And listening to lot’s of music & I’m loving the 20 Karat Music Mixes - this hour I played 80’s Rock & ate a vegimite sandwich with Men At Work.. next hour we’ll play 70’s Rock & then in the 2 o’clock hour I’m going to mix up some of my favourite UK Acid Jazz - yummy!! Keep listening..

Sunshine Friday
It’s Friday, the sun is shining, we’re heading into Hanami weekend, I’m happy up here!! Oh & that’s the song I’m playing now on the air!! Hey I wonder what you’re doing this weekend? Are you going to enjoy sakura in the park & in the sunshine? Hopefully I am. I am also definitely going to look at cool contemporary art at 101 Tokyo art fair in Akihabara - on this weekend only - check it out.. see you out there in Tokyo somewhere!!

Happy Mondays!!

Yes it’s a back to work Monday & I’m having Happy Mondays (just like the name of Madchester superstars!!) Hey how was your weekend? I hope you had time to get out & enjoy the sunshine & cherry blossoms. I was lucky to see beautiful sakura from my balcony at home - so I had hanami at home!! I also visited the 101 Tokyo Contemporary Art Fair & saw some amazing new art from Japanese & international artists. The art fair in Akihabara was very cool with some very cool & friendly people enjoying their time in Tokyo. お天気に恵まれ、花見で楽しまれたでしょうか？私は家のバルコニーから美しい桜を観る事が出来ました-お花見を自宅で楽しみました！私は101東京Contemporary Art Fairに行って来て、日本と国際的なアーチストの前衛的なアートを楽しみました。秋葉原でやっているこのアート展では、とてもカッコよくて、親しみのある東京をエンジョイしている人などが居ました。このインタビューの模様を僕のサイトで聞く事が出来ます。

Disco Fun!!
We’re having fun on the air today with our special guest Nile Rodgers of 70’s disco group Chic who are in Tokyo performing this week at the Blue Note. Nile has produced sooooo much music over the years & he told us he especially loved working with David Bowie, Diana Ross & Madonna!! He also said the audiences in Japan have got really funky over the years so he is having tons of fun in Tokyo. In keeping with our disco day Sayoko talked about club event Baby Loves Disco which is now in Tokyo too - boy I am ready for a disco dance!!

今週ブルーノート東京でパフォーマンスを行っている、７０年代のCHICのメンバーのナイルロジャースをスペシャルゲストとして迎えて今日はオンエアーしました！ナイルはすっごく沢山の曲を何年にも渡ってプロデュースしてきました。そして今迄に、デヴィッド・ボウイ、ダイアナ・ロス、そしてマドンナと一緒に仕事をしたのは特に特別だったと言ってました！また彼は日本のオーディエンスも何年にも渡って本当にファンキーだよね！？とも言ってました。サヨコは、今東京で行われている、Baby Loves Disco と言うイベントの事を話してました-僕はディスコの用意は出来てるよ〜！

Spring Days..
I’m loving this Spring season - we’ve had brilliant weather for days!! Outside my house is a huge, beautiful sakura tree & now the blossoms are falling & spreading all over the ground - so my street is covered in a blanket of soft pink & white blossoms!! Seeing this every morning on my way to the radio studio gets me in the mood to play some sweet springtime inspired music - so please listen to my 20 Karat Music Mixes everyday & enjoy Springtime with me & my music!!

Sunny Days!!

I’m loving the sunshine these days & I hope you are too!! I chilled out at home over the weekend & sat in the sunshine on my balcony.. yes I’m getting a little bit of a suntan. And also loving riding my bicycle in the sunshine too. Enjoy the sunshine now before it get’s too hot in Summertime & actually enjoy it today because there’s a chance of rain tomorrow..

Hello Tuesday
Oh yes it’s Tuesday & we are all hard at work.. but we have some great music & topics to keep you company at work too. On Guy’s Flight today in the 1 o’clock hour I am flying you to London & a very cool music & technology festival with live shows from Royksopp & Peaches. And my 20 Karat Music Mix in the 2 o’clock hour I’m going to play some Sweet Pop. Join me for the good times.. oh & tomorrow I’ll have some very cool information about a live show in Tokyo!!

The sun is shining, the city is washed clean after the rain last night & the wind is blowing giving us clear blue skies.. & I think you should go out & have some fun in Tokyo!!
