Hello world!
My name is Justin! I came from a very very small country that you can hardly see on the map The name of my country is Singapore. Our country is named as Singapore because the person who named out country saw a lion when he first step onto our country. Singa = Lion and Pore = City in Malay language.
A country that is greatly influence by Japanese culture in one way or another. Japanese restaurant, pub, shopping center, school, saloon, karaoke, products and many many more!
Even my whole family is very into Japanese culture or any Japan related stuff. My dad, brother and sister can speak Japanese very well. As for me, I'm trying my best to learn Japanese from books, drama and anime because one of my dream is to migrate to Japan and open my own shop there. Furthermore, I'm blessed with opportunities to work with Japanese company in my country during my holiday to allow me to learn and practice more of my Japanese, for example, Takashimaya Departmental Store and JTB.
JTB will be a more fun job to be in as I will be interacting with Japanese around my age and bringing them around my country for nice foods and sight seeing. At the same time, getting to know some lastest news, trends and happening in Japan.
I'm also part of my school Japanese culture group. A group that allow us to share and learn new Japanese culture ranging from Manga drawing to Sushi making
Only been to Japan once. Visited Kyuushu, Kumamoto! Fallen in love with the weather, people, city and food over there. Will really wish to visit Japan again soon! If financial and time allows...

My Japanese: I lived in Japan with a friend for 2 months in 2005. Japan is my favorite country in the world. I want to go back but cannot until i am done with school.
I'm Alex, I live in Moldova and my native language is Romanian. I'm mostly technically inclined (graduated Mechanical Engineering and working as a programmer) but I'm "into" languages, though I don't shoot for quantity but rather quality >:)
Used to work as a translator between French and English for a *long* time, now it's back to my original love, programming. I'm not too good, please don't tell anyone...
As for Japanese, been doing it for 2 years, with disastrous consequences so far :) But practice makes perfect... I *really* like it, the sound, the writing, the grammar, everything.
(Love the "BAKA GAIJIN" in the description of this community :))

Finding out the hard way that without speaking Japanese or having an English teaching degree I'm seriously screwed when it comes to employment.
If anyone knows of any jobs available for hardworking Dutch and English speaking computer guys please let me know. Been thinking of doing private English teaching.
