It made me have numerous interests in Korea. Visiting Korea, seeing many Korean and learning the language was awesome experience for me.
I wanna know more about the culture !
Nice to see you all and I'm waiting for hearing from you soon(^-^)/

Hello, everyone. I'm Kayo.
I used to live in Vancouver as a student for a year.
then made some Korean friends. also had a Korean BF at that time.
Now I'm in Japan living with a BF who is from Brisbane.
I'm really interested in Korea and Aus.
hope we're gonna have a lovely communication here.
right. I saw many couples of a Japanese girl and a Korean guy.
It's not only about Korean guys. atractive ppl are atractive, u know.
I also saw some Chinese guy Japanese girl couples.
supecialy thesedays, many Japanese girls are intersted in Korean guys because of the stupid fad.
one day, one girl asked me how to get a Korean guy.
what an idiot! fxxk sake! I hadn't been going out with ex-korean BF because he was a korean, right? I had been going out with him only because I really liked him.
specialy Asian ppl often change their mind by the stupid media. even though they are not really cool, ppl feel like they're cool. I don't like that very much.
a bit difficult for me to explain this but hope some one understands me...v
Hello, Boron san.. let me answer for that question first, the sea weed contains a lot of nutrition enough to cover the minimum level of sustenance that human being requires for the life and ever since we could get it very easily from every where, (the three side of Korea is surrounded by the sea) it was really popular everyone and especially for those of weak people who have been sick or just recovered from illness. and I guess poverty could be one of the reasons why it’s so popular too. As you know, our forefathers weren’t able to have that well being life which like we have now that we can get food everywhere if we want in no time .but back in those days, you know, it wasn’t like this right?
And the reasons why we are having the sea weed soup on our birthday is really simple, right after our mothers give a birth for us, they become really weak and could even become really critical if they aren’t treated very well. So they eat the sea weed soup to get their health back and feed us with her breast mike (well, maybe this things rarely happened these days.^^). So we eat this on birthday as a symbol we were borne today hoping to bring a health life for the next year.
I hope you could find yourself understanding easily.. and nice to meet you here !!
I didn't know that matter of seaweeds(^^
Personaly I don't eat them much, but now I know it's good for health... should eat more...

Now,I figured out what sea vegitables mean on Korean people's bithdays. On the second thought, sea vegitables have a lot of minerals.Since they are known as good for hair and skin in Japan, we dine many of them ,espesially the men who worry about their receede forehead(My dad..).
Hello guys, great to see you! I am roll, Japanese woman living in Seoul for 3years. Currently I am studying in graduate school.
My interests about Korea are so diverse, culture (old and new, from Tangun mith to Yon-sama phenomenon), history (especially during the colonial period and Park Chun hee regime), politics ( I can't understand the factionalism in Korean political scene!). Anyway, Korea continuously gives me a lot of wonder! However, I believe, the biggest charm of Korea is Korean people themselves.
I wish we will have nice and fruitful conversation here!!
