“Every moment is enormous, and it is all we have... Our life is a path of learning to wake up...” Natalie Goldberg
December, the last month of the year and the prelude to a new year. The time of year we usually refer to in the USA as the “Holiday Season.” For me, December is a time for dreaming, reflecting on the past year on what I have accomplished and hopefully reflecting on the lessons that I learned while working through the challenges faced throughout the year. It is also a time for exploring what’s possible for the rest of the year and leading into the New Year. A time for creating new goals so that I can create the best New Year’s ever while living life one precious moment at a time. For the month of December I have once again chosen three themes for my “Positive thinking Space:” dreams, possibility, and goal setting.
I hope that you enjoy a most enchanting holiday season as a transition into a most incredible 2012!
“The thing the sixties did was to show us the possibilities
and the responsibility that we all had. It wasn't the answer.
It just gave us a glimpse of the possibility.” John Lennon
“The potential of the average person is like a huge ocean
unsailed, a new continent unexplored, a world of possibilities
waiting to be released and channeled toward some great good.”
Brian Tracy
“In my dreams there are endless possibilities
and in this precious moment
I will take the first step towards
making them come true!” King Solomon Hearn
“Enlightenment is very possible
for the ordinary individual.
Actually, it is easier than for someone
who thinks that they are special.”
Sri Ravi Shankar
“An optimist is a person who sees only the lights in the picture,
whereas a pessimist sees only the shadows. An idealist, however,
is one who sees the light and the shadows,
but in addition sees something else:
the possibility of changing the picture,
of making the lights prevail over the shadows.” Anonymous
“The best thing you can give yourselves...is the gift of
possibility. And the best thing you can give each other is the
pledge to go on protecting that gift in each other as long as
you live.” Paul Newman
“As you start to see the possibilities in the impossible,
you will begin to see that the world works “perfectly.”
You can find reason and purpose in everything―
if you open your mind to it.” Susan Jeffers
“The most exquisite paradox…
as soon as you give it all up,
you can have it all.
As long as you want power, you can't have it.
The minute you don't want power,
you'll have more than
you ever dreamed possible.” Ram Dass
