ちょうど１年ほど前に亡くなった山水人の常連、『アイアム・ヒッピー』著者のポン（山田塊也さん）がつくった原発の詩がでてきました。
2002年8月に静岡県袋井市にあるデンマーク牧場をかりて催された「浜岡・平和の集い」というお祭りに寄せてもらったものです。
このとき，ポンに久しぶりに会ってみると、カートに酸素ボンベを載せて持ち歩いていたのでびっくりしましたが、元気さはぜんぜん変わらずで、ステージで詩の朗読などしていました。
「平和の集い」は１週間ほどの祭りでむちゃ暑くて，夜もテントの外で敷物をしいて裸で寝てる人がごろごろいたほどでした。その時にも毎日壁新聞をつくり、またＨＰで発信しました。今でも壁新聞のファイルや写真アルバムその他見られるので、よかったらご覧ください。

なおその時いっしょに壁新聞やHPをつくった本出みささんがポンの詩を英訳してくれました。ゲイリー・スナイダーに送ったそうです。ゲイリーはこの秋に来日する予定でしたが、どうなったでしょう。
Nilakanta (Blue Throated One)
According to Indian legend,
in time immemorial, when the primordial sea of milk was churned,
a lethal poison came into being.
To protect all living things from this poison,
The great god Shiva consumed it.
As he did so, a blue mark appeared on his throat.
Hence, he is said to receive the nickname, “Nilakanta (Blue Throated One)"
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The neck-tied jerks from the electric company
had the nerve to say
“Hamaoka Nuclear Plant is designed to withstand
a M 8.5 earthquake.”
Are you saying that the nuke plant is
secured, like with a hinge,
even when the earth cracks open?
Nonsense! It sits right on top of the epicentral area!
Walls of all kinds will collapse,
all buildings will crumble
electric cables, cooling pipes will all break.
A nuclear reactor with its cooling system lost,
the temperature skyrocketing
how many minutes would it take
for it to explode, blow out radioactive material,
facing its final meltdown?
It is then that the miracle of Shiva will occur.

From the edges of the Pacific
An enormous tsunami, roaring,
approaching like a gigantic monster
swallowing up the near-exploding reactor and workers
dragging them deep down under
the primordial darkness of the sea
Soon, the boundless ocean beyond Omaezaki
will turn into a creepy blue mass
heaps of corpses of whales, dolphins and fish of all kinds
white bellies turned up
will decorate the throat of Nirakanta like a necklace
Shiva Shiva Shiva Shanvo!
But that, is wishful thinking.
If the nuclear reactor goes critical and explodes,
chain reaction will occur in the four nearby reactors
massive amounts of radioactive materials
will rise high above the sky.
By the time,
the tsunami arrives to cleanse
the remnants of the reactor and heaps of corpses of the locals,
ash of death will blanket the skies of Japanese archipelago.
Hara Hara Hara Shanvo!
In this modern day reality of ongoing fight between the gods and Ashras,
will we see the miracle of Shiva,
or not?

"Bom Shankar!"
If you think you won't,
then
join a peace walk,
join the "Stop Hamaoa" lawsuit,
we must all work to stop the reactors.

インド神話によれば天地創造のその昔
乳海撹拌によって発生した猛毒から
生きとし生けるものを護るため
大神シヴァがその毒を呑み干したところ
のどに青い痣ができたので
ニーラカンタという渾名がついたとか

おゝ 死と破壊の大神ニーラカンタよ！
１５０年の周期を迎えて 発生間近な
東海巨大地震の災禍から
生きとし生けるものを護るため
原発事故による破壊を破壊し
放射能の毒を 呑み干したまえ！
電力会社のネクタイ野郎は抜かしたものよ
浜岡原発はマグニチュード8.5の地震にも
耐えられるように設計してあるだと
大地が裂けても 原発だけは蝶番のように
つながっているとでも言うのかい？
馬鹿ぬかせ そこは震源域の真上だぞ！
塀という塀は倒れ 建物はすべて崩れる
電気ケーブルや冷却水のパイプは破断し
空焚きの原子炉は一気に加熱するだろう
それが爆発して 放射能を空中に放出し
メルトダウンまでに 何分かかるのだ？
その時だ シヴァの奇蹟が起こるのは
見よ 太平洋の彼方から 喚声を上げて
魔物のように押し寄せてる巨大な津波が
爆発寸前の原子炉や従業員の命を呑み込み
原初の闇の底へ運び去るのは
やがて御前崎の沖合の大海原が
不気味なまでに青ずんで 白い腹を浮かべた
鯨やイルカや魚などの累々たる屍が
ニーラカンタの首飾りとなるだろう
シヴァ シヴァ シヴァ シャンボー！
しかし それは希望的観測とやら
津波より先に 原子炉が臨界爆発すれば
四基の原発が連鎖反応を起こし
大量の放射能が 天空高く舞い上がり
原発の残骸と周辺住民の累々たる屍を
津波が洗い浄める頃には 死の灰が
日本列島の上空を覆い尽くすだろう
ハラ ハラ ハラ シャンボー！
神々とアシュラたちの戦い続く神話的現在
シヴァの奇蹟は あるのか ないのか？
あると思えば一服「ボム シャンカール！」
ないと思えばピースウォークに参加したり
「とめよう裁判」の原告になったりして
一日も早く みんなで止めるしかあるまい
