Nice to see you guys. I am プリン(or hiki). I am in an American University now. I made this community for people who are looking for the place to use english I guess many Japanese people learn English, but there is little chance to use it. Then, I thought it might be good place to use English here. I hope this community will a place where people can enjoy chatting, making new friends, discussing some topics and more. I hope this community are used like an cafe in mixi.
uh... ok, I'll introduce myself in English. *ahem*
I'm a graduate student living in a land-locked state.
After I graduated from college in Japan, I spent a year on Maui to polish my English (I couldn't speak much at that time) and went on to pursue Ph.D in microbiology.
For those who want to improve their English;
I still remember the days I struggled with my English. It's so frustrating!
One thing I did and worked was to stop using Japanese and think in English (though the side effect of this is that switching between "Japanese mode" and "English mode" becomes pretty slow, so I'm not a good translator).
Sorry, my Japanese is still like a beginner, I am still learning Japanese from Hiki, but I am a native speaker of English so I think I know that well. I hope I can be of service to everyone!
Nice to meet you, my names Kami, I'm from London UK.
I'm a final year student at university studying Computer games design, my plans are after graduating to work in Japan as an English teacher, sounds common eh? haha. My ideal choice is JET (pray for me so that everything goes well!)
I went to Japan 2 years back and loved it! I'm hoping to meet some people from this site regardless where your from!
My name is Cathy from Taiwan and now I'm living in St. Louis. I am glad to join here. If any chance, I would like to share my English learning experience with you all.
By the way, I like you all Japanese. Hopefully, make more Japanese friends here.
