ＡＬＣＥＳＴ
”Souvenirs D'un Autre Monde”

Daevas leaves band!
Bassplayer and founding member Daevas has decided to leave Secrets of the Moon due to personal issues. "There won't be any official statement from his side." states singer and guitarplayer sG. "Still he will remain being a close friend. His unique work in the band will never be forgotten".
There is no official replacement for Daevas. "A few names have come to our minds but nothing is sure yet" sG says and promises that all confirmed shows for 2008 will be played, however.

Best Wish For Daevas...

orz
HELRUNAR: Dionysos quits the band - 2008/06/24
Our veterans of Pagan Metal, HELRUNAR, are faced with a serious line-up change at the moment. Founding member, guitarist and songwriter Dionysos, who played an imperative role in creating the albums "Frostnacht", "Baldr ok Íss" and the now legendary debut "Grátr", has left the band after around seven years of membership.
"We are sad to announce Dionysos' decision to quit the band", the remaining members Alsvartr and Skald Draugir are saying in an official statement. Under these circumstances, we are unfortunately forced to cancel the scheduled tour in September, as everyone will be aware of the fact that it is not impossible to find an equal replacement that quickly.
We'd like to offer our thanks to Dionysos for his efforts, his creativity and his energy all of these factors have strongly informed the essence of Helrunar. Our best wishes go out to him on his future musical and personal path."
"Just In Case We'll Never Meet Again"
Schwadorf／a.k.a.Markus Stock (The Vision Bleak, Empyrium amongst others), Markus B. a.k.a.
title "We Had To Burn Our Fucking Kingdom"

On A Sad Sunny Day
Album Info
ARCTIC PLATEAU - Gianluca Divirgilio,
Post Rock, Shoegaze, New Wave
"I am so inspired by the sadness that I feel I have found the joy."
On A Sad Sunny Day"の中で聴くことのできる歌詞です。

new album
I will enter the Markus Stock's Studio E for recording the second Alcest album from the 27th of July to mid August. The mix/mastering will be done by N. Xort in september at the Drudenhaus Studio.
This album will contain 6 tracks : 4 new ones and the 2 ones from "Le Secret" re-recorded. As for the total playing time, it will be around 55 min. The concept will change a bit from "Souvenirs...", since I am dealing with the usual Alcest subjects but this time using ocean's thematic as a metaphor. I have been inspired a lot by seaside romanticism these last times, it's strengh and mysteries and I wanted to use it as the main idea/imagery for the new album.
Musically expect something slightly different as well, more complex in the structures (two of the new songs are 10 minutes lenght), emotionally wider, with a lot of contrasts and dark blue soundscapes...
But obviously this is still 100% Alcest, with its typical ecstatic moments and deep nostalgia.
Also Winterhalter (Amesoeurs/Les Discrets/ex Peste Noire,..) will play drums on this recording.
The release date is planned for january 2010
