Well...I'm up at 5am...what an ungodly hour to be up!! Ha ha ha....just about to do some training before getting ready for work.

So, how is everyone going? I sometimes look at the photos people are taking....everyone seems to be going really well!!!

I have the new Nandai Eigo class coming today. I went to meet them in March and they all seem like a great group of people!!!

I'm also teaching the advanced class for first year English Communication this year. Quite a few Nankoku people in that. Let's see who I can remember (only taught them for 2-3 lessons so far):

Hiroyoshi, Yuudai, Natsuyo, Hiroki, Asato, Rena, Saya, Saki.....and probably 3-4 more, but it's still too early in the morning!!!

Anyway, we never did get to meet before everyone went here and there. Who is left in Nagoya? It would great to get together for dinner or something soon. Also for the Tokyo-gumi ....hahaha...sounds like a gang....next time I go up to Tokyo on business etc., I'll let you know and we might be able to organize something!!!

Look forward to hearing about your adventures soon!!!

Keep in touch

Sean

Dear Sean,

Hello I am someone who is considered a part of the "Tokyo-gumi" or I atleast hope that I am. Please exuse my lateness on commenting on this topic but I honestly was trying to think of the right words as my last few comments seemed to have been what some people call "KY" comments and hard to comment back to. I wish to redeem myself with this chance that you have given me.

Now that you had a chance to recall who I am, and where I am coming from, please understand it is in my deepest interest to meet you and I think this holds true for rest of the people in Tokyo. If you do find yourself coming to Tokyo, please contact us through this commnuity or by e-mail and I will do my best to gather the Nanzan-Eigo students who are scattered around different parts of Tokyo. We all have so much to talk to you about! Hope you do find time in your busy schedule to meet with us!

With that out of the way, let me say that I am doing very fine and dandy(I am not gay) in Tokyo. There are a few setbacks like the overcrowded trains and the fact that I have already made some teachers mad by nodding off in class (this hasn't changed). Also, the classes are not much different from the ones we took in Nazan Kokusai and the Nanzan Eigo-Class so my hope for something fresh and new was betrayed. Your classes were much too interesting that everything seems bland.

I also wish to apologize for all of the comments up to this point that has been filled with randomness and retardation(I know this is not a word). Now you might be thinking to yourself that this comment is filled with the same randomness and retardation of my previous posts but please understand that I am trying my best here. How are the Nanzan Kokusai students doing!? Hope to hear from you!!

Sincerly,
Daisuke
Thanks Daisuke

Never apologize for your words. It's your form of expression and it was always stimulating to try to find the message what you wrote. It sounds like you've settled into university life (especially the nodding off part). Tokyo can be a bit stressful with all the people and chaos, but once you get used to it, you find all the convenient things about it start to stand out more to you!!

Yes, I will definitely be in touch!!! Can't wait to see you all. Yesterday, I had the second NANDAI EIGO class for this year. They are a good group of students too, just like last year. What I mean by good is that they all have a personality and a willingness to explore and learn!!! I hate teaching robots so people not being afraid to speak their mind is what I'm looking forward with this class too!!!

Right then, time to hit the roads. I have a tournament coming up in a few months, so I'm in training again!!!

Catch ya soon

S
