Hi everyone...yes it is sad news and a shame not to see him through the rest of year!!! All of you are great..each and everyone of you!! Hope you all enjoyed the challenge of yesterday's class. I know we were going to start group presentation preparation next week, but since it will be Ullah's last class, why don't we do something else? Any ideas? We could use part of the World Plaza instead of the classroom. It could be an "one-act" each session...一芸 kind of thing. You know, stand-up comedy, "my most embarassing moment every, singing...whatever you wanna do.
What does everyone think? I'll check if the World Plaza is not already booked for a class and let you know.
Thanks Jun!!! I have plenty more weird and whacky photos!! Just give me a reason!! Ha ha ha. I'll ask about using the World Plaza whatever we decide to do as it will make a nice change to the classroom. As for ideas....come on team, throw them this way.
Sounds like a plan. Yep, we could do the haka. I could do a small presentation on New Zealand....and if anyone's been there, we could swap stories. Then I could show you the haka...learn the words and the actions....then all do it together powerfully in the end. What does everyone think? A cultural lesson, perhaps? Ha ha ha.
Also, if you wondered how I took the alien photo, check these out!! I can take photos like this on my computer with the built-in camera!! Go Apple!!!!
Hahaha...didn't realize that everyone liked those photos so much? I might have to take some more!!!
As for Tuesday....how about we start with a tour of NZ...i can tell you a little bit about this history, the people etc. After some Q&A...we can move into the culture part of it...i.e. learning how to do the HAKA!!!! I can take you through the words, then the actions and we can then finish off by putting them together!!!
What does everyone think? Let me know so that I can try to book the World Plaza instead of the classroom for Tuesday!!! You are all a great group and losing one of the team is going to be sad...but let's make it a class to remember.
Sean
PS: I found some photos from the past today...I'll scan them later on, upload them here etc., and then you can all see what I looked like with hair!!! Ha ha ha.
