In this episode, I give the answer to our quiz! How many did you get correct??

Here's the transcript for this week's episode:
======================================================
Hello everybody and welcome to Episode 11 of the Eikaiwa Video Club! Today, I will be filming from my house and unfortuanately, Aaron will not be here today so it'll just be you and me. Are you ready? Alright, come with me!

Alright, let's go over our answers to the quiz we gave you last episode. Let's start with question number 1.

Question number 1 was:

Where is Aaron from?

If you listened to the conversation, he said he is from Seattle, Washington. So the answer is "Seattle, Washington."

Question number 2. Question number 2 was:

How many times has Kevin (that's me)....How many times has Kevin been to Japan?

The answer to question number 2 was 10 times.

Alright, let's move on the question number 3:

How tall is Aaron?

Aaron is 6 feet 3 inches tall. 1 inch equals 2.5 cm so he is very very tall.

Alright, let's move on to number 4. Question 4 was:

Where are Kevin's parent's from?

My parents are from.....that's right, Japan! They are from Japan.

Alright, let's move on to question number 5. Question number 5 was:

When did Aaron get his pilot's license?

Aaron said in his introduction that he got his pilot's license when he was 17 years old. That's pretty young!

Alright, let's move on to number 6.

Where is Kevin going to work?

The answer to that is Boeing. Boeing is a company that builds airplanes.

Alright, question number 7. Question number 7 was:

Where did aaron live for 4 years?

Aaron lived in Hawaii for 4 years, that's right.

OK, let's move on to the next question. The next question was:

What did Kevin do while he was living in Japan for one year?

When I was in Japan for a year, I taught English.

Alright, let's move on to question number 9:

Did aaron surf or boogie board when he was living in Hawaii?

The answer is actually both! He said that he did a little bit of surfing and also took up boogie boarding.

Alright, let's move on to our 10th and final question. The 10th question was:

How tall is Kevin?

Now this was a TRICK question, so don't worry if you couldn't answer it because we didn't say how tall I was. But just for your information, I am 6 feet tall. That's about 180 cm.

Well, that's all the time I have for today, but thanks for coming over to my house and we'll see you next time!

See ya later!

Hello,Kevin!
Thank you for your answer!

I could hear the question sentence other than No.6 and No.8.
The answer...I mistook three.がく〜(落胆した顔)
As for Q3, it was not answered without noticing a unit of the height being different from Japan.

Such a learning method is very interesting!
I wish you offer it again when a video like this time is.
I'm looking forward to next video.

See ya三日月
Hey everyone! Thanks for your comments!

sherry> Sorry about the trick question, but we want to build your confidence in English listening. If you didn't hear us talk about something, we want you to build your confidence to say "Hey! They didn't talk about that!!" So that's why we added the trick question. Sorry if that confused you!! About boogie boards...they are kinda like surfboards, but you ride them on your stomach and they are much smaller. Here's a link to a boogie board picture ->

Hope this helps!

トマトぼーや> Good job on the quiz! I'm glad that you enjoyed the quiz video. We will do quizzes again in the future so that you can see how much your listening has improved!

ハッチャン> Wow, you're very tall! That's great! I think our quiz is more difficult than the TOEIC too....because it is native speech. BUT, I also think it's more practical than the TOEIC too! Would you agree??
