Some interesting adidas output right here, with the resurrection of an obscurity in the shape of The Sneeker, an eyecatching spin on the Waterproof and an odd version of old favourite, the ZX500. With two Sneeker colours on offer, you can opt for the OG green and white safe bet, or a green purple and black variation that's got more than a whiff of Skeletor about it. The midsole really does set this variation off, the materials are top quality and this is a respectful but off-the-wall welcome back for this low-profile shoe. At the end of the alphabet, as part of the Materials Of The World Pack, this men's ZX500 represents Turkey, with a well-intentioned, but frankly bazaar (see what we did there?) mixture of Turkish weave material and elaborately embossed leather panels, encompassing brown, red, blue and every other colour in-between. Nice midsole though. The star of this selection is this Waterproof, with a mixture of soft and more durable quality leathers, Dellinger Web midsole, an outsole with preposterous levels of grip, Gore Tex lining and a killer colourway of flouro orange, a dark teal heel and a chalky off-white. The simplicity of the design and rugged build means those days of trawling the streetlit winter pavements in black and brown for fear of sneaker destruction are over. Beautiful.
