First and foremost, a small piece of wisdom. Some advice that I think is great, but I am often too lazy to heed. Here it is:

Simple eh? Well, I often find that I spend more time reading about writing, or thinking about plots and characters, than actually writing. Not so good. Of course, learning more about the art of writing, and expanding your characters is important, but it's more important is just to get some words down.
