Today was the monthly let's speak English club in Fils in Yoshiwara.
We had a really international group today with 2 women from the Phillipines a woman from China 2 Mixi friends 2 of my Peare class students and a veteran member of the group. After introducing ourselves we talked about how to communicate with your partner when you don't speak the same language. There was a lot of contrubution from the Phillipino side and the atmosphere was good.
I'm afraid that not all the Japanese participants could follow the discussion, but I think it was a good stimulation for them to work harder on their English.
