This one sounds very Jewish. (as you know Aaron is Jewish. This was a story when my teacher went to see Aaron a few years before he passed away, due to purchase his print. Can you imagine that!? buying a print from the artist, directly? (By the way, my photo teacher & mentor, Peter Laytin, is a photo professor in Fitchburg State College, who has been known as the author of "Creative Camera Control." and a protege of Minor White. AND...he is a funny and wise-ass Jewish as well. Ha, ha.)

"To put him in one word, Aaron was a very GENEROUS guy just like the other great photographers, Stieglitz, Ansel and Minor." That was what Peter opend to tell me. Would you like to know HOW GENEROUS Aaron was? Here was Peter's story.
It was kind of a silent contact. If you want to buy a print from Aaron, you take him a restaurant and treat him a good meal. He loves to eat. So Peter took him a restaurant near his house in Rhode Island. Aaron said it was his favorite restaurant around the vicinity. As soon as they took seats, Peter noticed nice and sweet smiles from all the waitresses in the house, hitting onto Aaron. Women loves Aaron! Peter thought he was not like a best looking man in the whole world, he was big, fat, and even bold. What is this!? Every waitress came to say hi to him and also touch him with arms around his shoulders...like a harlem! What is the secret?
They had finished the good lunch. When my teacher put the money on the table, he figured it out.
"Peter, what are you doing?" Aaron said. It was 25 percent tip on top of the payment. Peter looked confused to Aaron, "25 percent is enough, isn't it?" "No, that is not enough." "You mean more?" "Yeah. MORE."
