The World の２００８年バージョンが出るかも？？です

I recorded those tunes before I came to Japan the first time. I think they were recorded in 1974 or 1975. Matues was my husband at the time and he wrote all the music and did the arrangements. Matues died in 1989 but I'm sure he'd be very happy to know that his music is still living. The lyrics to "Ain't No Tax On Love" were written by a man Matues met in the doctor's office. They started talking about how high taxes were in America and that everything was being taxed except love. So they wrote a song about it. I thought the song was cute so I was very happy to record it. "The World" was recorded at the same time because Matues and I were never paid for the "Ain't No Tax On Love" recording. Instead, Seymour (the lyrist's name) produced "The World" for Matues in payment for "Ain't No Tax On Love". "The World" was a protest song about our American freedoms being taken away by the "system". It's funny because that song was written over 40 years ago and we still have the same problems in America today. I'm thinking about doing a 2008 version of "The World" because it's still a reality today.
