The exam is all multiple choice. It consists of 170 questions, 150 of which are marked and 20 being pretested for future use. You will be given 4 hours to complete the exam. The passing score for the exam is 75, but it is not a percentage. The number of questions that must be answered correctly is not necessarily the same on all forms of the exam, based on level of difficulty of individual questions. The passing score is the same for all BSW graduates in North America where the exam is used, so a person who has passed the exam will be able to move easily to other provinces or states.
