In these days Azalea flowers ‘ツツジ’ in Japanese are beautiful. I took these photos near an English conversation class.
Topic of the English conversation class in this time was about TV program. I know a word ‘sitcom’ abbreviation of SITuation COMedy for the first time. Sitcom is a popular category of TV program in US. ‘FRIENDS’, ‘FULL HOUSE’, ‘ALF’ and ‘FAMILY TIES’ are classifies as sitcom. I think this category is not popular in Japan but some animation including ‘SAZAESAN’, ‘KUREYON SHIN-CHAN’ and ’CHIBI MARUKO-CHAN’ correspond to sitcoms. I also recognized that ‘昼ドラ’ dramas in week day lunch time is imported from other country. It is called as ‘soap opera’ in US because the sponsors of these are soap companies.

called soap opera. I didn't know that. hahaha
