The fight card is set, the venue is secured. Beginning in May, some of San Francisco's most talented chefs will square off in a monthly cooking competition as part of the new Industry Nights at Macy's Cellar series brought to you by Rivera Public Relations. In front of fifty spectators, three judges and a star MC, Marisa Churchill of Bravo's Top Chef, the chefs will put their best dish forward using the night's featured ingredient, during a fast-paced, timed competition.
MANZARE vs KINDA EAST COAST ATTITUDE MEETS FAR EAST APTITUDE In one corner, Chef Joseph "The Boy from the Bronx" Manzare of Pescheria, Globe, Zuppa and Tres Agaves. And in the other corner, Chef Kunihiro "The Knife" Kinda of Hime Restaurant. What will happen when our mystery ingredient is revealed, when East Coast attitude meets Far West aptitude? No doubt food and ideas will fly?and the result will be delicious. Our panel of local food legends will crown the champ.
