Ok I dunno about you guys, but i'm not in to the whole 6/6/06 or 666 that is coming up. It feels like the whole 2000 or Y2K scare. What do you guys think? The day of the slayer?

um, 6/6 reminds me of a dentist.
When I was in a elementary school, the dentist came to our school at June to treat or prevent cavities. 6/4 is The Cavity Day. I was scared of the dentist who came to school every year. He was old and glim, spoke in a dreadful voice.

No, there is a difference: there was indeed something to Y2K, whereas there isn't to 666.

the Omen is a remake of an older film that came out in the 1960s or 1970s. Has anyone noticed that most of the films that have come out in the US in the past couple of years have been remakes of older films? I guess the writers in Hollywood are too damn lazy to make a real film. Next thing you know, they're going to just film kids playing XBOX for 2 hours and show that in movie theaters. Then they don't even have to pay actors.

I thought it's quite well known that in numerology some numbers have negative qualities, such as; 6, 9, 11...

I'm not scared of an intangible devil and stuff as i'm neither religious nor superstitious, but I'm well worried about maniacs that are into evil numerology if they are up for something in our real life.

On a side note, they say on the 06/06/06, it's been 333 days since the London bombing last year. According to numerology, as this adds up to 9, and is half of 666 it has very negative qualities.

It's still the day before here by the way...

The Book of Revelations was written with full of symbolisms; therefore, I don't think the number 666 has a literal meaning. However, for those who believe the myth might cause silly little accidents by just thinking about "the number of the Beast". :(

Sorry if I repeated the same thing someone might have already mentioned. I didn't feel like reading the entire thread. OH, and I'm a Christian either.

I remember seeing in the news a while back that '666' might be a result of a transcription error and the number of the beast is actually just simply '6'.
I wonder what happened to that report.

Its 6/6/6 now here in Los Angeles. Nothing is happening except a big costume party late at night! 666... the digits of the beast. All I know is that if I am still in LA on 1/8/7 next year im hiding indoors. ^_^

I can't believe people actually think 06/06/2006 = 666... :p
it's been proven for a long time that the number 666 was associated to Emperor Nero, and to the date in the 1st Century, NOT the 21st century... but I must admit that Hollywood can make money out of ANYTHING haha... So I think I will scare someone today :D

I can't believe I failed. Testing officers are so anal. Do you know there is only a 20 percent pass rate!! tsk

Ok so I just got back from a huge party that was special in Hollywood just for 6/6/6. Nothing special happend. Actually the party was just ok. HAhaha! Damn. :I Maybe itll be like Damian and someone is born with the mark of the beast today. Who knows? Hehe. Well its 6/7/06 and all is well!! Well cept for being too hot in LA.
