Man, I haven't ate one of them for a while. Although there easy for me to just buy, I need to watch my abs. A friend of mine came down from Gumma and requested 5 hard and 5 soft tacos from Taco Bell. Yes, he ate them all in about an hour. I guess not having the stuff that makes us fat in three years is okay at times.
Back on point - I'm sure to ride this out till almost the end. BTW...has anyone even thought about what they'll do with all of the household items? I mean, packing a suitcase is one thing, but everything else? That is, only in a worse worse case scenario speaking. Just curious.

My bad. Well if Snoopybear can get his fuzzy bum up and out of the cave he's been living in, maybe he can do some good volunteering. I'm surprised, 雑種熊cuddlywinks: you are so quick to criticize other foreigners, so quick to say you desire nothing more than to immigrate to Japan, and yet so cowardly in the face of this disaster. What are you doing to help your community? If you are a business owner, surely there are many things you can do. What are you doing to help your fellow man? Sounds like you've been doing nothing more than insult a variety of people. I call the sort of spineless child you seem to be 馬...鹿.
Still, what would we be without a 雑種熊cuddlywinks sharing the same air and soil as the rest of us?
13> I took it down out of maturity. Realized that I have been slipping down to the same childish level he's on and I cannot do that. When he wants to act like an adult, he can join the big-persons' table.
Oh I see, makes sense. But....i have a feeling that isn't going to happen for a while...or maybe not at all. He can make a fool of himself on his own i guess. :/
My theory is that Pooh is just an autistic kid in a basement with a couple PDFs of military survival guides and all this free time. I doubt he's so much as tossed his spare change into the convenience store donation box.
I did not get my bucket of KFC, Pooh, because I had not reserved one before Christmas. Those were sad days, but I learned from them.
(anyone amused by the fact that he actually response when you call him pooh bear? He enjoys it! look at the cuddwy widdle pooh bear. awwwwwww! I betcha if you rub his tummy he blames Jews for killing Jesus.)
But I like playing with pooh bear! He's so soft and furry, covered in cheeto dust after spending another day on the internet attacking people he doesn't like. And then he disappears for a few hours every evening to go teach eikaiwa somewhere in backwoods Chiba and drink a few one-cup sakes before passing out and starting the day anew.
Aw...so maybe instead of putting him in time out, we should make him run a few miles? He would be distracted for at least 10 hours and he could lose some troll weight. Hopefully after that we wouldn't have to feed him much, or at all. I can hide a twinkie in the room. Since he would be hungry he would stay in the room and not bother anyone!
I think the irony in poohbear calling people internet warriors is hilarious. I bet he's never even touched a gun that shot anything other than water and his so-called 4 years of sniper work in the other thread was in Call of Duty.
Very interesting points to relate to here. As a young teen, I can vividly remember how fast the chaos broke out during the name of a man called - Rodney King in Los Angeles. It really was every man and women for themselves. Not here. Not Japan. Not yet...
I'm going........ in the opposite direction, though!
I don't live in Japan anymore (sadly and not by choice) but I am leaving in a few hours for Tokyo. From there, I will take a train to meet a humanitarian convoy on its way to Sendai. I will stay there for approximately one month to volunteer with relief efforts.
I am grateful to have been given the chance to go help. I know a lot of people would like to do something beyond giving money, and I am just lucky that I can go with an organization that's approved by the Japanese government to go, that I have a boss who's flexible enough to grant me a last-minute leave of absence, and that I have a husband who's understanding enough to let me go (he will deploy to Afghanistan while I am gone, so tonight is our last evening together for a while!)
I doubt that I will have much access to the Internet while there, but if I do and if I see anything that can be done by people outside the region, I'll be sure to write about it.
