☆ENGLISH ONLY☆コミュのChristchurch

The big earthquake happened in New Zealand.
The center area of Christchurch was seriously destroied.
I was surprised very much. I have been to New Zealand
when I was young, and I visited Christchurch.
Christchurch was beautiful and calm.

I have known that many young Japanese have learned
English in Christchurch. Some Japanese nurses wanted
to work in Africa, and they said that correct English
is necessary for rapid medical decision.

I respect their volunteer spirit.
Anyway many young Japanese died. It was like the earthquake
in Japan. For the first time I have known that there
are many earthquakes in New Zealand.

In Japan the terrible earthquake happened in Kobe,
and this memory is new even now.
We can't know the things of tomorrow.
Now I live, and I should thank this fact,
though I usually forget that.

It's totally sad that those who were in there just to improve their English got smashed like that. There are still many that are unaccounted for and the rescue teams are working their arses to search the bodies with a grain of hope that sombody's still alive underneath that massive rubble and debrbis.

Too big an example of how mightmarishly fearful a near-field temblor is.
Had been able to predict it coming in some possible way..I can't help thinking it over and over, so do many others I think.

Hope the death toll will go up no more. This is where a miracle should come in. So I pray..

I was shocked very much. The most people died by the earthquake.
And it had taken 72hours.

I hope for we can find people as soon as possible.
I'm very sorry for them, especially went there for study.
