The winter holiday season is always one of the busiest travel seasons
of the year.

(The winter holiday season is usually defined in the United States as
beginning with December 24, Christmas Eve and ending on January 1,
New Years day!)

Do you have any special travel plans this holiday season? If so, where
are you going and how long are you planning to stay?

I currently live in the U.S. I usually go back to Japan at Christmas time so I can spend time with my parents back home, but I'm staying on this side of the Pacific Ocean this time. Just too much work. :(

In response to your question ＴＫＣ (1).

I enjoy traveling! I have an interest in the type of places people in
Japan travel to during the holiday season in Japan and the amount of
vacation time that have for travel. My Japanese friends have told me
that people from the United States usually have more time off for
vacations then people in Japan and I was curious if that is still true.

I am japanese,and i work for a japanese company,but still have 11days off this winter.it depends on what kind of industries you work in,i guess...

as for my travel plan,i came to visit my mother and father in low here in kyoto.and i invited my friend back home and visited old temples and shrines.it was pretty nice.

I'm only traveling after the Holiday Season ... second week of January I'll be going with my fiance and friends to a gaming get together in Portland, OR. Hooray!!

Otherwise, nowhere.

Though I did get to go to Honolulu a few years back on Xmas (really busy!) and I wish I could do it again ...
