This is Megumi. This is my first time to write my topic.
I have studied English in US for one year, and yesterday I watched the video in speech class. It talked about culture, gestures, and idioms.
One Japanese guy explained "hesomagari" in English. I understoon what he said, but nobody understood... I wanted to explain well to understand for them, but I couldn't... Well...this is my English promblem...
Are there around you such kind of people who can not admit own mistakes , even they are obviously wrong or bad ,because they are not gentle and they sulk or become sulky over trivial bad thing??
We refer those men to as “hesomagari” in Japanese!!
Is this an answer?
I hope that you can explain this Japansese words to them!!
Thank you so much, 真愛天-san, @今-san, だいはど-san, じぇーむず-san, and UltraMantis-san When I saw everyone's answers, I was so happy because I didn't expect.
"perverseness", "stubborn", "be difficult" and "devil's advocate"
Next week, I'm gonna try to explain using these words.:D
If they can understand in Japanese, I speak Japanese, but everybody is American...
They will not...and also I am studying English, so I don't want to use Japanese in class or other time, too.
Anyway, thank you so much putting your answer in my topic, guys
