Thai police has decided to enforce sloppy cops to wear pink armbands featuring "Hello Kitty".
Since simple warning text message on armbands didnt work out for punishment, they have gone to new high of their twisting to shame the police officers who break police rules.

Isnt this shame or fame for Kitty?

I know that Sanrio leases out Kitty's image rights to just about anything. But did this actually get Sanrio's ok? (Not that I think Sanrio would mind the extra publicity.)

Thai police never contacted Sanrio about this.
I smell a lawsuit coming...

Poor Kitty though, being used as an icon of shame.
I say there is abosolutely nothing wrong with men weilding Hello Kitty paraphernalia!...well, you do see them quite often in the streets of Tokyo.

In my prefecture where I live, there's a Kitty chan
Theme Park. It's likely that the president loves cats
so much. However I prefer Miffy-chan. My ex-girlfriend
liked Miffy-chan so much. Miffy is my destiny.
