Billys boot camp was a big hit but I guess there was still some segment of the market that didn`t want to buy into Billys boot camp because he is black? What other reason could there be for the newest "Turbo Jam" DVD training program being pushed by the Japanese home shopping channels? I just looks like they "white washed" something just to compete with Billy`s boot camp. Whats the point? If a person wanted to do that kind of workout in their home why wouldn`t they already own a copy of Billy`s Boot camp? If they didn`t want to workout with Billy`s boot camp why would they feel differently about Turbo Jam? It`s all the same anyway. The only difference is Billy is black and the Turbo Jam lady is white. Marketing people have a lot of nerve. If the routines were different enough I wouldn`t be complaining. I don`t use either, but apparently a lot of people are.
I've always wanted to say this about Billy's Boot Camp, for all those who are American and reading this.... Remember Tae Bo in the 1990s?? It's pretty much almost the same thing. Haha sorry to jump off topic a bit...
Yeah... now that you mention it, I do remember Tae Bo. So, aint nothing new at all but the packaging. Must be nice to be able to take advantage of the public on a regular basis. I just wish we would make it a little harder for them.

I'm sure they already own Billy's DVDs, but it just didn't work for them or not as good as they expected, so they're now looking for something new. This kind of thing happens all the time in the Japanese market.
After this Turbo Jam, some other new training program will be coming from the states or probably from Europe this time.
