Prime Minister Kan will resign in time (sooner or later). “In time” is an ambiguous word. Prime Minister Kan seems that he has taken criticism only by himself. Both the Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) and the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) have blamed Prime Minister Kan for the disaster.
DPJ and LDP will have the coalition cabinet after his resignation. Will this new cabinet work well? The situation of politics is confused even now. DPJ could avoid the split, but the political strife has continued.
Mr.Ozawa is the power behind the throne, but now his influence falls off. Young politicians should gain the initiative in both DPJ and LDP. The accident of the Fukushima atomic power plant looks like the symbol of the old political system. Anyway we must revive, even if we need a lomg time for changing the system of Japanese politics and economy.
