I watched an interesting TV program.
The TV program was about the present young Japanese.
I think that they are a minority, but I don't
know a true fact.

The TV program showed that the present young Japanese
were not ambitious.
They want to come home as quickly as possible after work.
They don't want to succeed in life.
They don't want to have a car.
They don't want to marry.

In the TV program, there were one group of middle-aged
Japanese and other group of the present young Japanese,
and they discussed each other.

Middle-aged Japanese said that the present young Japanese
had to be more ambitious, but young people argued
against their opinion.

Middle-aged Japanese have lived in the period of
economic growth of Japan, but young Japanese have
lived after the end of economic growth.
The present is the period of confusion in economy,
politics and the future of Japan.

I think that the present young Japanese can't have
clear purpose of their life.
Many Japanese could have clear purpose after
the Meiji Restoration (1867), that is,
it was to catch up with Western countries.

Japan has been already an advanced nation,
and maybe one of main countries in the world.
It seems that Japanese need to take a rest,
though economy of China has been growing rapidly.
The world history is now in the turning point.

Advanced nations have lost ambition, and
developing nations try to be major roles in the world,
especially China.
It seems that Japanese are vacillating between China
and the USA.

The world economy will be more stagnant from now on,
and so we should endure through sad troubles.
Life of everybody has the ups and downs,
and the world is also same.
