Hello, I'm working on a small project for a class at my university and I would like your help. I'm mainly looking for answers from Japanese people, but if you are a foreigner and would like to input your opinion, I would also appreciate your effort.
1) Male or female?
2) Age? (age range[20s,30s] is also okay if you do not want to specify your age)
3) Location?
4) Occupation? (student, part-time worker, etc.)
5) Do you own designer label items? If no, why not?
6) How many designer label bags do you own?
7) How many designer label accessories (wallet, keychain, etc.) do you own?
8) About how much in total did it cost? (any currency is fine)
9) What designer label(s) do you own?
10) Why do you own that/those designer(s)?
11) What is the reason you buy designer label items?
12) Where do you buy designer label items? (department store, overseas, internet, etc.)
13) Do you plan on buying more designer label items in the future? Why/why not?

6) Five (including two porches)
7) Ten or so (including wrist-watches)
8) Not sure... it's been a while since I bought them. I'd say $8,000 or so?
9) Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Coach, Bulgari, Tag Heuer, Issay Miyake, Giorgio Armani, Hugo Boss, etc.
10) I bought them 'cause I used to think it's cool to have designer-brand items.

12) Mostly at their own stores.
13) Not anymore. Reason: I know how better to spend money now.
14) Not anymore. Hate to use a cliche, but it's who you are, not what you wear.
15) To each his/her own. To me personally, buying designer labels is mostly a waste of money. The only exceptions are Bulgari and Giorgio Armani. They are obviously designed to last very long. :)
