In this new version of “Twelve Angry Men”, the accused boy is an orphant from Chechen, whereas the jury are, of course, Russians.
The killed victim was an officer of Speznaz who had fought for Russia in Chechen but adopts the accused boy, an orphant in Chechen, from his deep sympathy to him.
The film has made such version involving esthnic problems of Russia.
I was really moved by the film and felt the movie occasionally like a play of Chekhov.
Is there anyone who has seen this film?
Let's talk about the original American masterpiece too.
