I've posted a previous comment similar to this (with less details) earlier, but decided to post a new one. I'm a university student in Tokyo, who's roommate is moving out at the end of April. So I am looking for either one new roommate (or I guess two if they wanted to share the same room?) or to find someone else who needs a roommate and would like me to move in there. They can be male or female (I'm gay so gender doesn't matter). Sorry, I do ask for non-smoking though...
I currently live in northern Ueno, a short walking distance from Uguisudani station on the Yamanote line and Iriya station on the Hibiya line. The current rent is 140,000 yen, so split between each of us thats 70,000 yen each. Water and electricity are included in that. So all we pay extra for is gas and internet. The available room is about 6 tatami mats big, 2 walls plastered with windows (lots of light), and has a balcony. I have plenty of photos, so just ask me and I'll show you photos of the apartment.
If somebody has a room that will need an occupant for May, please let me know. I can speak English, I used to be able to speak Spanish (its been so long but I'm sure I can do it conversationally), and intermediate Japanese. I am willing to move almost anywhere within metropolitan Tokyo. If anyone has any information, or would like to inquire about this little vacant room in northern Ueno, let me know!
