Hi, I'm a 23 year old Australian, half Japanese girl looking for people to meet up with to share an interest in art. I'm interested in drawing and sketching mainly (although I don't care if you do something else).

I'm looking for people to exchange ideas and encourage each other. I'd like to meet up to draw or to go to art groups together, etc. I'm only looking for other females in your teens, twenties, or thirties since I'm looking for someone I can be friends with as well. I live near Yokohama so living in the Tokyo area would also help! I have no training and don't care about your level.

Also I'm interested in meeting artists of all ages, genders, and geographic locations to exchange ideas online.

And if anybody happens to know any art societies I would much appreciate it if you could tell me about them.. :-) Especially any international ones.

Excuse me. I'm not an artist on fine art, but I write poems as art. I believe any arts are related at a certain level on the root. If your interested, come read my pieces. I have about 380 Japanese pieces and 40 English pieces of mine. I'm late 40ies.

Hi
I like to draw oil painting, but my painting skill is so terrible,sometimes I feel so miserable when draw something.
Life is long, I will improve my skill someday, I tell myself so...

I am a member of art club,main member is colleagues,draw painting once a week. It's fun to see other's work,idea and techniques.
The member of art club appreciate the attitude of the art and never mind how high skill they have. That makes me comfortable and relaxed to draw painting.

I like to enjoy many works and exchange ideas.

Art to me would be like, a mushroom cloud after a nuclear bomb detonation, the Air Force f22 raptor soaring through international air space without being detected, the Army Abram Tanks firing on a building that houses insurgents, or a Marine regiment assaulting a beachhead. Now, that's art!!
