Well i guess i could say, this is what i get for not watching tv and the news particularly[sp]...Well i've come across a bulletin today on myspace-- and its got me thinking. Will this plan/Would this plan actually fall through?

~Borders between all 3 countries will be erased
~All 3 nations constitutions will be replaced with new governing laws written by corporations = with “profit” as the primary motivation.
~The Supreme Courts of all 3 nations will be replaced by a "permanent tribunal for North American dispute resolution" which will trump all of them.
~For all intents and purposes = Washington D.C. would essentially have overriding political control over the so-called "North American Community".
~This will be done without ever having to bring the issue before the American, Canadian, or Mexican people = for a clear referendum or vote.

This is a load of shit. Anyoen should learn by now, that if you have a myspace account, bullitens there are made-up bullshit. There are so many reasons why this will never happen (such as Canada and Mexico refusing anything like this already) that i could never find the time to write them all down.

Hmmm I guess Americas collapse is nearer than what I expected to be. If you want to become even poorer go for it. I remember very well what happened in Europe. The average people became so much poorer and the rich much richer. Also the society is in such away I cannot believe you openly will accept something as you call it the New America since you hate foreigners as it is now. Maybe is not such a bad idea but as I can see it I believe Mexicans will be the workforce of that union like the Italians, Africans, Irish were in the old time in America.

I find it strange that US and Canada still have such strict regulations between the countries. Europe is much more cultural diverse than Canada and US and have no restrictions between the countries. But then again it might have to do with.... something.

Asia is trying to do the same thing as the European Union. It's called "East Asian Community".

I debated the topic with Japanese students last year. Some Europeans were very skeptical this could work, but I think the European Union at it's begginning faced the same problems as East Asia is facing now... only 6 countries to start with, the rest of them were being ruled in many cases by fascist or communist countries, people had problems with each other because of resentment from World War II...
If someone told them that almost 50 years later there would be no borders in more than 12 countries, they would have a single currency, and many of them would have transitioned to a more or less stable democracies, they would never have believed it.
I don't think the East Asian Community will happen in a short span, but it's certainly not impossible if they start small, with a few founding countries, and start persuading other countries to join them.
In any case, America's economy will pretty soon be completely eclipsed by the powerhouses of the European Union and the East Asian community. Joining up with Mexico and Canada could be a wise move, economically speaking, to stop them from losing ground.
