・mint→　硬貨を鋳造する事ですね
　名詞→造幣局　(大阪にありますね、桜の名所）
　※こうした単語は必ず動詞として使えます
　つまり、硬貨を造る、鋳造する　のですね

mintingと ingに成っていますね
これは、既に始まっている事を示します。

例）タバコは体に悪い」を相手に言う場合
・To smoke is bad for health.
※相手が二十歳になって、タバコを吸ってみようかな、
という相手に、いう台詞です

・Smoking is bad for health.
→これは、既に喫煙をしているる人に言う台詞ですね

・surgeは、ぐんと上がる事ですね、

【Japanese frozen treat to go on sale in Malaysia】

A Japanese confectioner is aiming to tap* the Malaysian market
with a frozen treat that's long been popular at home*.

この at home は、日本で/国内で、という事ですね

Imuraya Group plans to locally produce and sell its sweet-red bean
"Azuki Bar" in the Southeast Asian country starting in September.

※tap →tapは色々と意味がありますが、
上の場合は、市場を開拓・開発、活用する、ですね

Imuraya says the bars will come in three flavors and be priced at just over a dollar each.
They will be less sweet than those sold in Japan to cater to local taste.

The popsicles will be made with Halal-certified ingredients to comply with Islamic law, as Muslims account for a majority of Malaysia's population.
