英語での表現活動に便利な表現形式をご紹介します

以下の一節は、ある中学校の英語教科書からのモノです。
コンピューターの話からの一節です。

The computer is very useful. It does a lot of work very quickly.
It does not get tired at all.
But it cannot think or imagine. Only we can do that.
The value of the computer depends on our creative use of it.

この中には、便利な表現形式が複数ありますが、
今回は、上の最後の文章、
The value of the computer depends on our creative use of it.　を応用しましょう。

これは、大変便利な言い方です。

◎「英語の価値は、それを如何に実用的に使えるかどうかによるものです。」

The value of English depends on our practical use of it.

◎「原子力は、如何にそれを平和的に使えるかどうかにその価値があります。」

The value of atomic power depends on our peaceful use of it.

◎「テレビの価値は、如何に、それを教育的に有効に使えるかどうかに価値があります。」

The value of TV depends on our educational and effective use of it.
