NPO on the road is a group supporting in reconstruction for quake-hit areas. We started to support directly Tohoku big earthquake and tsunami had happened. We received volunteers for ISHINOMAKI city and ONAGAWA town in MIYAGI prefecture, and Over 25,000 volunteers came and supported with various ways.
From now on, we make efforts to make ISHINOMAKI city an appealing place for people there to be able to make living independently and to want to live in continuously.
So we are planning to built multi-community facilities, where there are a café & bar, a guesthouse, and community space. It will be a symbol of reconstruction, and we hope many people want to visit ISHINOMAKI city for sightseeing.
Now, “globalgiving”, a platform where NPOs all over the world fundraise, is launching 100% matching campaign for reconstruction supports. It starts March 11th 0:00 JST (March 10th 10:00 EST).
