第３回 女性人権活動奨励賞「やより賞 2007」……6月30日締め切りです

ＮＰＯ法人女たちの戦争と平和人権基金より、お知らせとお願いです。
女たちの戦争と平和人権基金の事業の１つである、女性人権活動奨励賞（やよ
り賞）公募締め切りが迫ってまいりました。
21世紀を戦争と性差別のない世紀にするために、社会的弱者とされている人た
ちとともに草の根で活動を続ける、勇気と責任感のある女性アクティビスト、
ジャーナリスト、アーティスト（あるいはその集団）がやより賞の対象です。
広くアジア地域を中心に１名（または１団体）が選ばれ、50万円が贈られます。
・推薦締め切り 6月30日
・選考結果発表 8月10日
・贈呈式・記念シンポジウム 12月9日
（海外の団体・個人が選出された場合は、贈呈式に出席するための日本までの
渡航費および滞在費は、女たちの戦争と平和人権基金の負担と致します）
広くアジア地域から、多くの女性たちの推薦や応募を頂きたいと願っています。

This is a friendly reminder from the Women's Fund for Peace and Human
Rights:
The dead line of our important project, Yayori Award nomination for
2007 is June 30.
We hope many women will apply for this award from all over the world
especially the Asia region and areas with Asian connections. Please
forward this message to people with nominees in their minds.

The Yayori Award
The Yayori Award focuses on women activists, journalists, and artists
(individuals or groups) who work at the grassroots level with socially
marginalized peoples in order to create a 21st century free from war
and discrimination against women. We will select an individual or a
group from the Asian region and offer 500,000 yen.
Nomination deadline: June 30, 2007
Selection announcement: August 10, 2007
Award presentation ceremony: December 9, 2007
For award winners from overseas, the Women's Fund for Peace and Human
Rights will cover the expense of transportation and accommodations.
