BIO---------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally!!! His first solo album "FRIEND OR FOE" March 2008 Release

You may have seen Jonah the Whale on many occasions if you are into the Hawaii hip hop scene. Whether it痴 at one of the Hip Hop at the Trops events, or if you致e seen him creating a one man mosh pit at the Wu Tang show a couple months back. What you may not know is that he is from Waimanalo and is a member of the Direct Descendants crew. Jonah the Whale has worked with fellow members Creed Chameleon, Risup, Seph1, Ion Myke, Silencer, and Wrong One (From Burning Religiously) on various projects since 2001. SIQ Records is releasing his first solo album titled "Friend or Foe" which will be out at the end of March 2008. Don稚 expect anything out of the ordinary? 擢riend or Foe? is an introspective narrative of raw emotion and true stories and events encompassing Jonah痴 entire life. Many would agree that it痴 pretty heavy material and as raw as life can get. His hypnotic war drum-like sound represents the streets and hunger of the Hawaiian Islands. Through his music, Jonah portrays the day to day struggles that many young Hawaiians face in finding their identities being raised in the 808 state. His album release party will be held at Lotus Soundbar on Thursday March 27th 2008. The first 50 people to show up will receive a FREE copy of "Friend or Foe". Doors will be open at 9PM sharp.

Also featuring:
Hunger Pains, Creed Chameleon, Audible Lab Rats, meiso, Joe Dub, The Perfect Median
