Hello. I've been to LADO for 3years and I have a few questions for you about Lobby Talk.
I've taken part in Lobby Talk many times and like participating Lobby Talk, because it offers me a very good opportunity to meet people who I've never met. Most friends of mine in Lado met me at a Lobby Talk, not only at a class. So, to me, Lobby talk has a role to socialise me. (however, I met some weird people) If you want to meet new friends, I hope that Lobby Talk could help you.
Some people has never taken part in any Lobby Talk or hesitate to join in. But you don't worry. Everybody feel so at the first time. Let's share the info about Lobby Talk from this topic.
●Whose Lobby Talk was the best Lobby Talk? ●What kind of Lobby Talk do you like to join in?
I'm currious about the best Lobby Talk teacher ever for you. Of couse the answers depend on a student, the student's level or the school he/she go to. Some people don't know recent Lado Teachers, but any ex-teachers are okay. If you remember the detail of the content, I would like you to give the info what the teacher did at the time.
In the end, I hope that Lobby Talk keeps the good quality at any time for you and you will know useful info from this topic. Thanks.
The impressive LT was my first one, but I don't remember who was the teacher. The LT had 3 people and it was the first time for every one, nobody had exact image of "LT", so it was very unique in retrospect. It was supposed to be easy chatting, but we finally made heated debate about "Whether Saddam Hussein has right of access to courts or not". ぷぷぷw
So, when I took second LT, I disappointed at the Normal LT, a bit :).
Impressive LT will be led by good teach, but it also depends on the participants, ね?

What a high level Lobby Talk! It's like a CT. Maybe that Lobby Talk could benefit you, who was in more than advanced level, but it doesn't seem that any level students can have and share their opinions.
So it might be difficult to take a balance to meet all student's preference. When I was in GB or GI, I prefered to join in HANGMAN game.
I come to LT on Sundays.
Two teachers come and give us interesting topics such as:
What was the strangest food you ever ate?
Marijuana should be legalized to medical use?
One of the teachers, who is from Tronto, dosen't speak a lot.
The other one, Potter (isn't his real name), takes a lead of discussion.

コメントありがとう〜、というかこの前はCTで一緒でしたよね?土曜日のTroyのレッスンで。
The teacher, who looks like Harry is named Blendan(I'm not sure of spelling) and the other is Rajh. They are kind of new teachers. I like such a free talk style too.
THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME KNOW THE TEACHERS NAME.I STILL DONT UNDERSTAND HOW TO PRONOUNCE THEM THOUGH.IM GONNA GO TOMORROW TOO.I HOOP I SEE YOU THERE AGAIN.

Thanks for your comment,あや.
Year, I agree with you. Both teachers are one of the best Lobby Talk teachers, now. I took part in some their Lobby Talk and every time, many students had a good time and seemed interested in those Topics.

I think Craig has it from 4;20 on Thursdays. Now, Leon doesn't have his time, but he is Really friendly and kind, so when he is free, he may come out at Lobby and talk somebody in Lobby.
Otherwise, there are some case I experienced. A teacher at Help desk may come and sit on a sofa at Lobby if students speak in English entusiastically. Of course, it depends on the teachers's personality. But speaking in English at Lobby motivates the speaker themselves, I think, and might make opportunites to communicate teachers who buy drinks at the vender machine.
