KENNYが亡くなったのは1998年11月13日で、このアルバムは同年6月と8月に録音されたものだ。ブランフォード・マルサリスのアルバム「REQUIEM」がKENNYのラストレコーディングとされているが、これも録音は8月なのでほぼ同時期ということになる。以前トピックで書いた「MUPHKIN MAN」もこのアルバムに収録されている。
