New musical releases for 2007 include several new signings and many of our favorite Ubiquity acts return. Greyboy is finishing his new album which includes guests Casual, Nino Moschella and Jud Nester. PPP and Ohmega Watts are working on their second albums for release in 2007 with long awaited collabs!
Our family of LA-based acts continues to grow as Sa-Ra Creative Partners and Connie Price and the Keystones come through with albums. New act the Lions (featuring musicians with credits that include Macy Grey, Antibalas, Big Daddy Kane, Breakestra, etc) will be dropping soulful Jamaican-inspired tunes. CuBop legends Francisco Aguabella and Bobby Matos will also return with new releases.
Luv N’Haight releases will include second volumes of the Gilles Peterson Digs America and California Soul series, plus re-issues from Malone Barnes, Joi and many more. On the Luv N’Haight tip, a video for Darondo’s “Listen To My Song” is currently in production.
